The award

Leviathan Studios Ltd presents one annual, free-to-enter award: a professional website and branding, lifetime hosting, up to 10 development hours per month, first-year domain support and branded email setup. It is practical support in kind, with no cash alternative.

The estimated value of the bespoke website and branding is up to £25,000, depending on the agreed scope. The award provides studio services, not a cash payment.

Entry period

Opens 1 October 2026 at 09:00 BST. Closes 25 December 2026 at 23:59 GMT, including the whole final minute. The planned announcement is 1 January 2027 at 12:00 GMT, subject to acceptance. All times use Europe/London.

At a glance

  • A lead applicant aged 18 or over. Youth-led projects may apply through an authorised adult.
  • You must be authorised to represent the project. One application per project.
  • A genuine project that can be delivered within the final advertised scope.
  • No purchase, newsletter subscription, followers, likes or shares required.
  • Organisers, judges and their immediate families are excluded. Other judging conflicts must be declared and managed.

Applicants must be based in the UK or Ireland. Save a draft on the application page, then submit it during the entry period. Saving alone does not enter the award.

Who and where
The lead applicant and project must be based in the United Kingdom or Ireland, including Northern Ireland. Individuals, commercial projects, registered organisations and informal groups are welcome. No charity or company number is required.
Website, branding and content
A bespoke, responsive website and practical branding where needed: a logo, colours, typography and key digital assets. At discovery we agree the core pages, features and launch checklist in writing. Ecommerce, bookings, donations, forms and suitable integrations are welcome. The recipient supplies accurate copy, product information, prices, licensed photographs, legal policies, account access and timely approvals; Lvthn helps structure and present it. We aim for a focused, useful launch, then improve it through the monthly development allowance. Large custom platforms, unlimited catalogues or migrations, professional photography, ongoing copywriting and paid advertising are outside the included scope unless expressly agreed. Merchant accounts, fulfilment, customer service, tax and business compliance remain the recipient’s responsibility. Paid third-party services require the recipient’s agreement and are paid directly.
Domain and ownership
We can connect an existing domain. Otherwise Lvthn pays for one available, supported domain’s first year through Cloudflare Registrar: up to £20 for registration, plus any applicable ICANN fee, at the provider’s cost with no Lvthn markup. The choice and checkout price are agreed first. The recipient is the registrant and controls the account; Cloudflare Registrar requires Cloudflare nameservers. If the chosen domain exceeds the allowance, is premium or is unsupported, the recipient purchases it and provides DNS access. From year two the recipient pays the registrar directly, including provider price changes. Lvthn takes no renewal commission.
Lifetime hosting and monthly development
Lifetime hosting is included for the award website, plus up to 10 hours of hands-on development per calendar month from kickoff. Hours cover agreed improvements, maintenance, support and integration work; they do not roll over, become cash or guarantee emergency availability. We agree priorities and keep a time record. Work beyond the allowance is never charged without prior agreement. Hosting covers the agreed website, not unrelated sites, bulk email, file distribution or unbounded computing workloads. Lvthn explains excessive use or misuse and gives a reasonable chance to resolve it, normally 14 days. Restrictions are proportionate; immediate suspension is reserved for urgent security, unlawful activity or serious abuse. Normal growth prompts a capacity discussion, not an automatic bill. There is no fixed expiry or annual Lvthn hosting charge while the award website remains with the studio; domain and external service charges are separate.
Branded email
Lvthn sets up one domain on Zoho Mail’s free tier, subject to availability for the recipient’s region and chosen data centre. Up to four inboxes are available to the recipient; a fifth is reserved for studio-managed project integrations purchased by the recipient. Accounts and recovery details belong to the recipient, with delegated studio access limited to the work needed. The current free tier offers 5 GB per user and excludes IMAP, POP and ActiveSync; use Zoho’s supported web or app access. This is mailbox setup, not a promise of free third-party sending or compatibility with every integration. If the free tier is unavailable or changes, we discuss alternatives before choosing a paid plan. Upgrades, additional users and external services require agreement and are paid directly by the recipient.
Costs and leaving
There is no Lvthn renewal fee for the included hosting or monthly allowance. The recipient pays domain renewals from year two and any paid email, merchant or other third-party services they choose. They can leave at any time by emailing jb@lvthn.co. We provide website source, available content exports, brand files and an access inventory within 30 days, subject to third-party licences and registrar restrictions, with no exit fee. Agree the hosting switch date together, normally allowing at least 30 days to move. Hosting and maintenance elsewhere become the recipient’s responsibility. If they withdraw, Lvthn may select a reserve or another eligible project; the departing recipient keeps the work already delivered.
Delivery and handover
We aim to hold discovery within two weeks of acceptance and agree the scope, content checklist and project dates within four weeks. A focused website normally launches in 8–12 weeks after scope approval and receipt of essential content and access. This is a planning target, not a guaranteed date; ecommerce, integrations or missing material may take longer. Changes to dates are agreed in writing. The recipient reviews key design and pre-launch stages. Handover includes a practical walkthrough, website source, brand assets and relevant account details. Bespoke work created for the recipient belongs to them on delivery, subject to existing studio tools and third-party licences.
Acceptance and reserve recipient
We aim to contact the provisional recipient by email from 27 December 2026. They have seven calendar days from that email to accept and provide reasonable confirmation of eligibility and authority, with a reminder after three days. The New Year’s Day announcement is a target and may wait for acceptance; unconfirmed results are not published. If they decline, cannot meet the published conditions or do not respond in time, the next suitable project in the scored shortlist receives the same acceptance period. Reserves use the same rubric. No payment is required to claim.
Judging and conflicts
Applications use the published 30/30/20/20 rubric, with benefits considered relative to each project’s circumstances. An independent judge or panel member will participate, and judges’ names will be available on request. Judges declare conflicts and step aside from affected assessments. Only submitted entries are judged; contact details and newsletter choices are not scoring factors. Ties use practical benefit, then purpose and audience, then a documented reassessment including the independent judge. Jb has the final organisational decision within the published criteria and recorded independent assessment, including eligibility and deliverable scope. Selection is never based on popularity or random choice.
Entry terms and final decisions
One free entry per genuine project, submitted by an authorised adult using a verified email address by the deadline, with no more than 500 words across the three answers. A saved draft is not an entry and is not judged. Entrants must be based in the UK or Ireland and provide accurate information; writing assistance is welcome. Organisers, judges and their immediate families cannot enter. No purchase, marketing subscription or public engagement is required. There is one award in kind, with no cash alternative. Entries remain the applicant’s intellectual property, licensed to Lvthn only for administration and assessment. Jb decides within these published terms; statutory rights and the ability to raise a genuine concern are unaffected. Material rules will not be changed unfairly after entry opens. We agree a short recipient announcement before publication; entrants may object to publication of personal details by contacting jb@lvthn.co. Evidence of a valid award may still be supplied to the relevant regulator if required.

Third-party service details

The offer reflects Cloudflare Registrar’s cost pricing and nameserver requirements and Zoho’s published free-tier limits and availability, checked on 9 September 2026. Provider prices, availability and terms can change; any paid choice is agreed with the recipient first.
