Independent web design · Bangor, Northern Ireland

Web design for Bangor. Let people see what you’re about.

A creative business, independent service or community group needs to feel like itself online, while making the practical details easy to find. I build custom websites for organisations in Bangor and across Northern Ireland, working directly with you from my Belfast studio.

Project example: the website for Belfast guitar teacher Jamie Gordon.

The useful starting point

Personality and practical information belong together.

Photography, a clear introduction and a recognisable voice can help people connect with your work. They also need to know what is available, who it is for and how to take part. We plan both sides, so a memorable design still makes an enquiry, booking or visit straightforward.

Show the person behind the work

For a teacher, maker or independent professional, visitors often want to understand your approach before making contact. A useful introduction, selected work and real testimonials can do more than a long list of services, especially when the offer depends on personal trust.

Make sessions and events understandable

People need the right date, location, age guidance, access details and next step. We work out which information belongs on a public page and whether a booking tool, event workflow or membership area is worth including in the scope.

Use imagery that carries its share

Your own photographs and project examples can explain what makes the business different. We choose where they add information, give them sensible descriptions and prepare the layout so they work on phones as well as larger screens.

Before the first sketch

Plan the route from interest to taking part.

For your Bangor website, begin with what someone needs to know before they book, visit or get in touch. We can shape the content around that decision and keep your personality in the design without burying the important information.

  • What do people need to see or hear to understand your approach?

  • Which photographs, examples and testimonials can you use?

  • What session, event or appointment details change regularly?

  • Is a direct enquiry enough, or is a booking workflow needed?

  • What should someone using a phone be able to do quickly?

Useful questions

Planning a website in Bangor.

Is this web design for Bangor in Northern Ireland?

Yes: Bangor and North Down, Northern Ireland. Leviathan is based in Belfast and works with organisations across the region. The studio does not have a separate Bangor office; you work directly with me through the agreed project and review process.

Can you build a site for a creative or small independent business?

Yes. We can start with a focused set of pages that introduces your work, gives people the details they need and makes an enquiry easy. The design is planned around your content and personality, with room to add useful features later.

Can we include bookings, memberships or an online shop?

Those can be scoped into the project if they support how you operate. We look at the tools you already use and agree the customer journey, administration and integrations before choosing an approach. More complex workflows need a larger budget and schedule than a focused website.

Do we need all our photographs and copy ready?

No. Planning includes working out what exists and what is missing. We agree who will supply photographs, write copy and approve content, along with any content support included in the quote. A focused bespoke website usually starts from £4,000.
