Independent web design · Northern Ireland

Websites for Northern Ireland. Built around your people.

A business in one town can serve customers across the region. A community organisation can bring people together online. I’m Jb, a Belfast-based designer and developer building custom websites for organisations throughout Northern Ireland.

The useful starting point

One website can have several jobs to do.

The useful starting point is how people reach you and what they need next. That might be a local enquiry, an online purchase or a member signing in from the other side of Northern Ireland. We plan those journeys together before choosing a platform or drawing the first page.

A clear business website

Explain your offer, show relevant work and help customers make a confident enquiry. We can separate your services and service areas so the right visitor reaches the right information, without giving you a site full of repetitive pages.

A connected community platform

Clubs and charities often need public information alongside events, memberships or staff tools. We map what should be public, what needs a protected area and who will keep it current, so the website supports the people running it.

A shop with room to grow

Products, delivery information, checkout and the work behind each order need to fit together. We agree the catalogue, payment and integration requirements early, whether you sell locally or want to reach a wider audience.

Before the first sketch

Plan the region you actually serve.

For an organisation working across several places, location content should help someone decide whether you can serve them. A good brief explains the real differences: delivery coverage, appointment locations, event venues or the services available in each area.

  • Which customers or communities need to use the website?

  • Where do you provide the service, deliver orders or hold events?

  • Which information needs a regional overview, and which needs a local page?

  • Who will update content and manage enquiries after launch?

  • Which existing pages, search traffic and systems need to survive the move?

Useful questions

Planning a website in Northern Ireland.

Do you work across Northern Ireland?

Yes. The studio is based in Belfast, and I work with organisations across Northern Ireland and further afield. Planning, design reviews and handover can happen remotely. You deal directly with me rather than being passed between an account manager and a separate build team.

How much should we budget for a website?

A focused bespoke website usually starts from £4,000, with a typical 6–10 week schedule. Larger shops or platforms need a different scope. Content, integrations, migration and the features you need all affect the quote; we agree those before work begins.

Can you bring several websites or local branches together?

We can scope a shared website around the needs of different services or locations. That starts with a content and URL audit, clear responsibility for updates, and a plan for any redirects. The aim is to make the structure easier for your visitors and your team to use.

Will a website rebuild improve our search visibility?

Search-friendly structure, metadata, content planning and launch checks are part of the build. A rebuild also needs to protect useful existing URLs. Search visibility depends on the wider competition and the content and reputation you build over time, so specific rankings are not part of a website quote.
